USD #244 Curriculum Information

USD #244 utilizes a number of curriculum resources for day-to-day instruction.   The district has developed outcomes for each grade level and subject through a process led by the Curriculum Leadership Institute.   Additional, Career and Technical Education (CTE) teachers follow the outcomes developed by the Kansas Department of Education and their CTE committees.  

Textbook adoptions take place on an approximately 5 to 6 year schedule, and parents and the community are able to view the materials at district office for at least 2 weeks prior to the adoption by the school board.
