My name is Ron Hess. I am a long time resident of Burlington and an Alumni of Burlington Schools. I received my Bachelor of Science in Sociology with an emphasis in Criminal Justice in 2001 from Emporia State University. My wife and I have been married for 23 years. We have two daughters who are also Burlington Alumni and are now in college. Since 1999 I have served as a Burlington Police Officer, a Coffey County Sheriff’s Deputy, and am now a Technical Trooper with the Kansas Highway Patrol.
We are very fortunate to live in a community where you can be as involved as you want. I have had the opportunity to remain involved with the Burlington Schools as a coach, substitute teacher and paraprofessional. I now look forward to serving staff, students, and patrons as a member of the Burlington School Board representing District #4.
