We are part of the Greenbush Consortium.

 

USD 244 uses a slogan of “Creating 21st Century Learners and Earners.”   Part of this commitment is shown through the development of the many Career and Technical Education Pathways at Burlington High School.  All students have the benefit of participating in the vocational program at BHS through the course offerings listed below as well as through course partnerships with Flint Hills Technical College, Allen Community College, and Neosho County Community College.

Currently, Burlington High School has 16 Career Pathway programs in various career areas:

Digital Media Technology Manufacturing and Production Technology Business Management and Entrepreneurship
Web and Digital Communication Construction Marketing
Teaching and Training Engineering and Applied Mathematics Power, Structural, and Technical Systems
Family and Community Services Health Science Animal Science
Restaurant and Event Management Business Finance Comprehensive Agriculture Science
Food Products and Processing Systems
